The « Fête de la Science » is the annual event for curious and passionate science enthusiasts of all ages and all backgrounds.
All areas of science are covered at this event.
A short historic
The « Fête de la Science » was created in 1991 at the request of the Minister of ResearchHubert Curien. This national event aims to promote science to a wide audience, create vocations in the younger generation and raise awareness about the need for effective research in France.
The Mysteries of the Brain
Since the 2016 edition, Doctoneuro has been representing Strasbourg neuroscience at the « Fête de la Science », coordinated by the Jardin des Sciences. This special occasion is a unique moment for us, where we can interact with the general public, make our daily work accessible and convey the values of science.
To met the public’s expectations and answer their questions, we have created a workshop entitled “The Mysteries of the Brain”, which aims to demystify the most intriguing organ of the human body. Fun and educational activities allow beginners and advanced students to learn more about neuroscience.
In 2017, the “Mysteries of the Brain" workshop was available to the Strasbourg public in the Science Village of the University Palace, as well as the residents of Lingolsheim and the surrounding area during our visit to the West Media Library.
