On April 29, the Société de Biologie de Strasbourg (SBS) held its annual Thesis Awards Ceremony at the Institute of Molecular Plant Biology, located on the Esplanade campus of the University of Strasbourg.
This year’s ceremony once again highlighted the excellence, diversity, and dynamism of our scientific community. More than forty applications were reviewed, and 11 young researchers were recognized for the outstanding quality of their doctoral work.
Among the awardees, the SBS “ITI Neurostra” Thesis Award - Dr. Félicie Lorenc Prize was granted for the following thesis: “Contribution of Inhibitory Neurons to the ALS-FTD Continuum: Focus on Motor and Social Phenotypes Associated with FUS Protein”
This research explores the contribution of inhibitory neurons to the ALS-FTD continuum, with a particular focus on motor and social phenotypes associated with FUS protein dysfunction.
