PRESCHOOL

Thursday-Friday August 27-28 [CDE auditorium or other room, e.g. Studium]

  • 9 – 12:30; lunch; 2 – 6 PM (Philippe Isope, Jyotika Bahuguna)
    Introduction to Python programming : Conda environment, Python basics (Object, Types, list, arrays, loops, conditions, functions, classes), Python packages (e.g. Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib...), use (and possible abuses) of Python with AI copilot systems.


SCHOOL

Monday August 31st [CDE auditorium + jardin]

  • 8:30 AM: Welcome and course presentation (Demian Battaglia)
  • 9 - 12:30: Fundamentals of spectral analysis (Axel Hutt)
  • 2 - 4 PM: Hands-on session on computational analysis of neural oscillations - From the raw data to the characterization of oscillatory activity (Romain Goutagny)
  • 4:30 - 6 PM: Revisiting statistics: statistical testing, regression and model comparison, resampling (TBA)

 

Tuesday Sept 1st [CDE auditorium + jardin]

  • 9 - 12:30: Machine learning for beginners Part I: from clustering to classification (Demian Battaglia)
  • 2 - 4 PM: Computational tools for spike train analysis and statistics (Pascale Quilichini)
  • 4:30 – 6:30 PM: Hands-on analyzing calcium imaging data (Antoine Valera, Yaroslav Sych)

 

Wednesday Sept 2nd [CDE auditorium + jardin]

  • 9-11:00: Network tools, functional connectivity analyses, graph theory (Demian Battaglia)
  • 11:30-12:30 PM: Neuronal circuits modelling, microscale Part I (Jyotika Bahuguna)
  • 2-4 PM: Neuronal circuits modelling, microscale Part II (Jyotika Bahuguna)
  • 4:15 - 6 PM: Neuronal circuits modelling, macroscale (Marisa Saggio)
  • 6 - 7 PM: Project selection, discussion
