Telethon

Telethon

This event, which is dedicated to generosity, was one of the first events Doctoneuro participated to after its creation. Each year, several of our volunteers work on the preparation of “neuroneles” (traditional Alsatian pastries), which are sold to collect money that is then donated to the Association Française contre les Myopathies. We are also pleased to offer, in partnership with the Christian chocolate pastry shop, chocolate neurons and marzipan brains.

What is Telethon ?

Since its creation in 1986, following a collaboration between parents of sick children and the scientific community, the Telethon has grown over the years to become a major national event with thousands of volunteers gathered each year. Doctoneuro’s members are proud to be a part of it.

The focus on myopathies and neuromuscular diseases is a golden opportunity to spread, in a broader context, knowledge about the functions of the nervous system.
